Healthy Eating

Children are provided with healthy meals and snacks prepared by our excellent catering team. A choice of a nutritious hot or cold meal is served at lunchtime. Fruit, biscuits and milk or water are served at mid-morning and afternoon break times.

WEEKLY LUNCH MENU

Week Commencing:  Monday 15 October

MONDAY

Main Course: Spaghetti Bolognaise served with pasta and peas

Vegetarian: Quorn Spaghetti Bolognaise served with pasta and peas

Dessert:  Yoghurt

TUESDAY

Main Course: Pork and Sage Casserole served with mash potato and cauliflower

Vegetarian: Vegetable Casserole served with mash potato and cauliflower

Dessert: Cherry Crumble and Custard

WEDNESDAY   

Main Course: Beef Cobbler served with new potatoes and carrots

Vegetarian: Vegetable Cobbler served with new potatoes and carrots

Dessert: Chocolate Crispy Cake 

THURSDAY  

Main Course: Chicken Curry served with rice

Vegetarian: Vegetable Curry served with rice 

Dessert: Jam Sponge and Custard

Bread, butter, jacket potatoes, salad selection & fruit are always available.

Water is served with the meal.

All meat used at school is supplied by local free-range butchers, Oakley Butchers of Merley.
