Healthy Eating

Children are provided with healthy meals and snacks prepared by our excellent catering team. A choice of a nutritious hot or cold meal is served at lunchtime. Fruit, biscuits and milk or water are served at mid-morning and afternoon break times.

WEEKLY LUNCH MENU

Week Commencing:  Monday 9 July

MONDAY

Main Course: Spaghetti carbonara served with cauliflower

Vegetarian: Mushroom caronara served with cauliflower

Dessert:  Yoghurt

TUESDAY

Main Course:  Beef tacos served with guacamole and salsa

Vegetarian: Vegetable tacos served with guacamole and salsa

Dessert: Cherry crumble served with custard

WEDNESDAY   

Main Course: Chinese chicken served with noodles

Vegetarian: Vegetable stir-fry served with noodles

Dessert: Chocolate brownies

THURSDAY  

Main Course: Sausage roll served with mashed potato and baked beans

Vegetarian:  Quorn sausage roll served with mashed potato and baked beans

Dessert: Fruit

FRIDAY

Prizegiving – you are welcome to have a picnic on the lawn after the ceremony.

Bread, butter, jacket potatoes, salad selection & fruit are always available.

Water is served with the meal.

All meat used at school is supplied by local free-range butchers, Oakley Butchers of Merley.
