Healthy Eating

Children are provided with healthy meals and snacks prepared by our excellent catering team.  A choice of a nutritious hot or cold meal is served at lunchtime. Fruit, biscuits and milk or water are served at mid-morning and afternoon break times.

Main Course: Spicy pork mince served with pasta & sweetcorn
Vegetarian: Spicy bean stew served with pasta & sweetcorn
Dessert: Yoghurt

TUESDAY

Main Course: Lamb casserole served with new potatoes & cauliflower
Vegetarian: Vegetable casserole served with new potatoes & cauliflower
Dessert: Chocolate brownies served with cream

WEDNESDAY

Main Course: Sausages & mashed potato served with onion gravy & carrots
Vegetarian: Quorn sausages & mashed potato served with onion gravy & carrots
Dessert: Pears served with ice cream                          

THURSDAY

Main Course: Chicken & parsley sauce served with rice & broccoli
Vegetarian: Cheese & tomato quiche served with rice & broccoli
Dessert: Lemon sponge served with lemon custard

FRIDAY

Main Course: Fish fingers served with mashed potato & baked beans
Vegetarian: Fish fingers served with mashed potato & baked beans
Dessert: Fruit

Bread, butter, jacket potatoes, salad selection & fruit are always available.

Water is served with the meal.
