Yarrells Took Part In The Race For Life And Raises £1,231.24 For Cancer Research UK

Yarrells took part in the Race for Life and raises £1,231.24 for Cancer Research UK

Life at Yarrells often continues beyond school hours.  On Sunday, 19th June 2016, we had over forty current and old pupils, parents, staff, friends and families taking part in the Race for Life at Poole Park raising money for Cancer Research UK.  It is wonderful that Yarrells works together as a family to support others less fortunate than ourselves with charities selected by our charities committee, consisting of pupils and staff, each year.

Ten of the Yarrells’ team finished in the top twenty with Tom Shepherd winning the race; Fergus Taylor came third and Edward Shepherd came fourth.   The youngest of the Shepherd brothers, Jonah from Year 2, came twentieth.  Thank you to our supporters and for sponsoring us. Jointly we raised £1231.24 for Cancer Research.

Well done!
