YARRELLS AMAZING RESULTS AT THE IAPS NATIONAL SWIMMING FINALS 2018
We are so proud of the pupils who were selected to compete at the IAPS National swim finals last weekend at the London Aquatic Centre. To be selected for this, each competitor had to qualify in the top 20 in the first instance – a pretty amazing achievement in itself.
Yarrells Year 5 pupil, Hugo Young, is now the National Champion after winning his race in the 25m backstroke and Lauren Corn came 4th in the 50m freestyle.
Of the thousands of IAPS (The Independent Association of Prep Schools) children taking part, Yarrells are very proud of our swimmers who have gained impressive results and excellent experience. To have the opportunity to compete at the London 2012 Olympic pool is potentially a once in a life time moment! It was a long day for all but our Yarrells swimmers had some amazing results (see below). Congratulations to you all!
