Yarrells is Worth It!
Educating your children in the independent sector is a real privilege and, of course, a serious financial commitment. As working parents, we know our incomes don’t go as far as we’d like, but I believe sending your child to our school is worth every penny.
I know, as a Head and as a parent of two teenagers, that it’s a child’s formative years in education that are the most crucial to positive growth and development. An investment in small classes, excellent pastoral care, where your children are known and celebrated as individuals, and in outstanding teaching and learning opportunities will give your child the greatest opportunities for the future. I am convinced that early exposure to excellent learning opportunities encourages aspiration in children, and furthermore, grows confidence to realise that aspiration in young people. It is one of the most exciting aspects of working in the independent sector. At Yarrells we know our children so well; we take time and care to invest in them, their interests and their skills so that they grow to develop a thirst for learning, an innate curiosity about the world around them and an enthusiastic drive to live life to the full.
Our children enjoy a fabulously rich and diverse curriculum, taught by passionate and enthusiastic subject specialists from the tender age of just 3 years. We prepare young people to enjoy and revel in the wonders of life as well as grapple with the challenges that face them. Pupils at Yarrells go on to succeed at local grammar schools, secondary schools and independent senior schools. Our school inhabits a beautiful and tranquil woodland setting, full of exciting places to play and be creative! We urge you to come and visit us to see for yourself: I should love to meet and chat with you about your hopes for your children’s futures. I guarantee you will meet a warm community of really happy children and staff who would be delighted to show you our truly fabulous school!
Our next open morning is being held on Thursday 2nd May from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Click here to sign up to join us at the open morning where you will have a tour of the school and grounds with our senior pupils. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the school in action, the facilities and meet with staff.
After the tour you will be able to meet with our Head, Mrs Sally Weber-Spokes, and Mrs Helen Breakwell, Admissions Registrar and PA to the Head, who will be able to help you make the right decision for your child’s education and future.
