Yarrells PTA
Who are THE PTA?
Our PTA (previously known as Friends of Yarrells School – FOYS) is a friendly group of parents who run fun, social and memorable events, as well as raising funds to put back into the school, enriching our children’s learning and experiences. On joining Yarrells, you automatically become a member of our PTA.
PTA Structure
Our structure recognises that people want to be involved but not necessarily have a ‘formal’ Committee role:
- Core team of 5 members, including Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer
- Class Reps (1 or 2 per year group) who help with communication and events
- PTA Helpers including parents, grandparents, friends and ex-Yarrellians
Our Vision
For all parents and extended families of children at Yarrells to feel part of a welcoming, inclusive and active School community that really makes a difference.
Our Purpose
To provide fun and memorable events for the children, parents, staff and friends of Yarrells School.
Our Output
Through funds raised at our events we are able to provide Yarrells School with an annual budget to enrich the children’s learning within the curriculum and contribute to larger ‘partnership projects’ to enhance and improve facilities, contributing to a better learning experience.
