Healthy Eating

Children are provided with healthy meals and snacks prepared by our excellent catering team. A choice of a nutritious hot or cold meal is served at lunchtime. Fruit, biscuits and milk or water are served at mid-morning and afternoon break times.

WEEKLY LUNCH MENU

Week Commencing:  Monday 21 January

MONDAY

Main Course: Spaghetti bolognese served with peas

Vegetarian:  Quorn spaghetti bolognese served with peas

Dessert:  Yoghurt

TUESDAY

Main Course: Turkey a la king served with rice and broccoli

Vegetarian:  Vegetable quiche served with rice and broccoli

Dessert:  Rice pudding served with jam

WEDNESDAY   

Main Course: Beef cobbler served with new potatoes and carrots

Vegetarian:  Vegetable cobbler served with new potatoes and carrots

Dessert:  Chocolate crispy cake

THURSDAY  

Main Course:  Chicken in a creamy tomato and basil sauce served with pasta and cauliflower

Vegetarian:  Vegetable pasta bake served with cauliflower

Dessert:  Pineapple upside down cake served with custard

FRIDAY

Main Course:  Fishcake served with mashed potato and baked beans

Vegetarian:   Fishcake served with mashed potato and baked beans

Dessert:  Fruit

 

Bread, butter, jacket potatoes, salad selection & fruit are always available.

Water is served with the meal.

All meat used at school is supplied by local free-range butchers, Oakley Butchers of Merley.
