Healthy Eating

Children are provided with healthy meals and snacks prepared by our excellent catering team. A choice of a nutritious hot or cold meal is served at lunchtime. Fruit, biscuits and milk or water are served at mid-morning and afternoon break times.

WEEKLY LUNCH MENU

Week Commencing:  Monday 25 February

MONDAY

Main Course: Beef chilli served with rice & peas
Vegetarian: Mixed bean chilli served with rice & peas
Dessert: Yoghurt

TUESDAY

Main Course: Chicken in a creamy basil & tomato sauce served with pasta & broccoli
Vegetarian: Vegetable pasta bake served with broccoli
Dessert: Lemon sponge served with lemon custard

WEDNESDAY   

Main Course: Sausages served with mashed potato, carrots & onion gravy
Vegetarian: Quorn sausages served with mashed potato, carrots & onion gravy
Dessert: Flapjack

THURSDAY  

Main Course: Chinese chicken served with noodles & sweetcorn
Vegetarian: Vegetable stir-fry served with noodles & sweetcorn
Dessert: Semolina served with jam

FRIDAY

Main Course: Fish cake served with mashed potato & baked beans
Vegetarian: Fish cake served with mashed potato & baked beans
Dessert: Fruit

Bread, butter, jacket potatoes, salad selection & fruit are always available.

Water is served with the meal.

All meat used at school is supplied by local free-range butchers, Oakley Butchers of Merley.
