Our PTA is a friendly group of parents who run fun, social and memorable events, as well as raising funds to put back into the school, enriching our children’s learning and experiences. On joining Yarrells, you automatically become a member of our PTA.

Our structure recognises that people want to be involved but not necessarily have a ‘formal’ Committee role:
For all parents and extended families of children at Yarrells to feel part of a welcoming, inclusive and active School community that really makes a difference.
To provide fun and memorable events for the children, parents, staff and friends of Yarrells School.
Through funds raised at our events we are able to provide Yarrells School with an annual budget to enrich the children’s learning within the curriculum and contribute to larger ‘partnership projects’ to enhance and improve facilities, contributing to a better learning experience.
PTA HIGHLIGHTS 2024-25
This school year has been full of energy, growth, and community spirit, thanks to the continued support and involvement of our amazing PTA, class reps, staff, and parents.
We started the year with a wine and cheese evening, welcoming Mrs Cunningham as our new Headteacher, giving new parents a chance to connect and feel at home.
Our Fireworks Night lit up the autumn term, featuring a fantastic fire performer and a dazzling display that delighted children and adults alike. The evening was packed with fun activities for the whole family.
Christmas magic filled the air as our library transformed into a festive grotto, where Santa greeted excited children. This event was a true team effort, with support from staff, class reps, and families making it one to remember.
Throughout the year, our uniform sales continued to be a helpful resource for families. We've also started collecting pre-loved costumes to support themed school events – a sustainable and fun initiative!
The Spring Fair was a standout moment – sunshine, smiles, hard work, and community spirit all came together for a fantastic day. From Pimms to play, it was a celebration of everything the PTA stands for. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for making the event such a wonderful success.
We’ve been thrilled to expand the PTA team, with brilliant support from class reps. This has helped us stay connected and effective across the school.
Our new welcome coffee mornings have opened the door for more conversations and ideas, creating a friendly space to discuss fundraising and school events.
Perhaps the most exciting development was the opening of the Forest School, made possible by parent donations and the community’s hard work. This special outdoor learning space has already become a favourite with the children.
We are on track to hit our £10k goal for the year!
And the year isn't over yet – we’re still looking forward to our school disco and celebration day, the perfect way to end a fantastic year on a high.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and support. It’s been an incredible year for the PTA – and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Thanks to our successful events and generous donations, we were proud to fund:
