Exciting New Baby Provision – Starting April 2026

Baby Room at Yarrells Nursery

Opening 1st April 2026 – From 6 Months Old

We are excited to announce that Yarrells Nursery will be introducing a dedicated baby room from 1st April 2026, welcoming children from 6 months of age. This new provision will offer a warm, nurturing and purpose-designed environment for our youngest learners and will operate on an all-year-round basis.

About the Baby Room

Our baby provision will begin with 6 places, gradually increasing to 9 places as the room becomes established. The space will be equipped with age-appropriate resources, a designated sleep area, and facilities to support feeding, nappy changing and early development.

Session Options

Families will be able to choose from the following sessions:

• 8:00am – 3:30pm

• 8:00am – 6:00pm

An optional early session from 7:30am – 8:00am may be available on request at an additional cost.

A minimum of 3 sessions per week is required.

Fees and Funding

Our guide price is £12 per hour, which includes all consumables such as:

• Food and snacks

• Formula

• Nappies and wipes

• Other essential items

This hourly rate will be confirmed in January once the updated government funding rates for under-2s are announced.

Government funding for eligible children begins at 9 months of age, and this funding can be used across all session options.

High Demand & Early Interest

Although the Baby Room will be officially launched in the new year, interest from our current families has already been strong, and we anticipate that spaces will be taken up quickly.
