World Book Night 2026

23rd April is World Book Night!

‘World Book Night’ brings people – of all ages and backgrounds – together with the aim of inspiring everyone to read more. At Yarrells, we are proud that reading is already a significant part of our culture. However, as 2026 is the National Year of Reading, we thought we would mark the occasion!

In school, Reception are holding their own World Book Night event, with pupils, their parents and teachers celebrating reading together. In addition to this, some of our Yarrells team have recorded stories for children in other year groups to enjoy at home.
