The Yarrells PTA brings our school community together through fun events, fundraising, and friendship.

Community, connection, and a lot of fun.

Our PTA is a friendly group of parents who run memorable events, build community spirit, and raise funds to enrich the lives of every child at Yarrells. On joining the school, you automatically become a member, everyone is welcome.

Who Are the PTA?

Our PTA exists to bring the Yarrells community together — to provide fun and memorable events for children, parents, staff, and friends of the school, and to raise funds that go directly back into enriching the children's learning and experiences.

A Year of Community & Celebration (2024–25)

This school year has been full of energy, growth, and community spirit, thanks to the continued support of our amazing PTA, class reps, staff, and parents.

We welcomed Mrs Cunningham as our new Head at a Cheese & Wine evening that gave new families a chance to connect and feel at home. Fireworks Night lit up the autumn term with a fire performer and a dazzling display. Christmas magic filled the air as our library transformed into a festive grotto, a true team effort that will long be remembered.

The Spring Fair was a standout moment, sunshine, smiles, and community spirit all coming together for a fantastic day. Our new welcome coffee mornings have created a friendly space for ideas and conversations, and our welcome uniform sales continue to be a valued resource for families.

Perhaps the most exciting development of the year was the opening of the Forest School, made possible by parent donations and community hard work. It has already become a firm favourite with the children.

We hit our £10,000 fundraising goal for the year, and thanks to our events and generous donations, we were proud to fund:

  • New uniforms for our sports staff

  • A drum kit for the music team

  • Two table tennis tables

  • A swing set for the Greenwood

  • A Forest School area with canopy and equipment

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and support. It has been an incredible year, and we couldn't have done it without you.
