School Years at Yarrells

The Yarrells journey begins in Reception and ends with pupils ready for the world. Every year group nurtured, challenged and celebrated along the way.

Every Stage of the Journey, Beautifully supported

Awarded ISI Significant Strength, with pupils' attainment described as well above national expectations and a high rate of progress found throughout the school.

Seven years. Countless memories, friendships and discoveries. From a child's first tentative steps into Reception through to a confident, capable Year 6 leaver ready for senior school and beyond, every year at Yarrells is filled with purpose, warmth and joy. We are proud that our most recent ISI inspection, carried out in October 2025, awarded Yarrells a Significant Strength, the highest individual commendation an ISI inspection can bestow, recognising the outstanding outcomes we achieve for every child in our care. Inspectors found that pupils' attainment is well above national expectations and that a high rate of progress is maintained throughout the school. Explore each stage of the journey below and discover what makes every year at Yarrells so special.

Curriculum Maps & School Charter

Everything you need to understand what we teach, and how we learn together.

At Yarrells we believe that parents and children should always know what lies ahead. Our curriculum maps give a clear and comprehensive overview of what each year group is studying across all subjects, term by term, reflecting the breadth, ambition and richness of a curriculum that the ISI inspection of October 2025 found to be developing individual talents and exceeding national expectations. Alongside them, our School Charter sets out the shared values and commitments that guide every member of our community.
