Admissions

Finding the right school is a big decision. We're here to make it an easy and enjoyable one, from your first enquiry to your child's first day.

How to Apply

Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. At Yarrells, we want the admissions process to feel personal, unhurried, and straightforward from the very first conversation. Our Admissions Registrar is here to guide you every step of the way, from your initial enquiry through to your child's first day.

01

Contact Us & Request a Prospectus

Our website is a great starting point, but we'd love to hear from you directly. Our Admissions Registrar, Mrs Kristal Bowdler, is happy to answer any questions about the school, available places, or the admissions process.

02

Visit the School

We warmly encourage all prospective families to visit Yarrells in person. You'll meet our Head, Mrs Clare Cunningham, who will show you around the school and/or nursery and answer your questions. Visits take around one hour and are available Monday to Friday from 9.30am during term time.

03

A Trial Day for Your Child

Once you've visited, we'll arrange a taster day for your child. They'll join their prospective year group and follow the normal timetable for the day. At the end of the day, the Head will share feedback with you personally.

04

Register Your Child

When you're ready to secure a place, simply complete a registration form along with a payment of £520 - comprising a £120 non-refundable registration fee and a £400 refundable deposit.

For Nursery places, registration is completed via the online form on the Ovivio Parent App, and you will be invoiced separately for the £400 refundable deposit.

The deposit is refunded once your child leaves Yarrells, provided all outstanding balances have been settled. Should you change your mind before joining, your deposit will be returned in full, provided you give at least six weeks' notice for Nursery, or one term's notice for the School.

To receive a registration form, please contact Mrs Kristal Bowdler, our Admissions Registrar.

05

Confirmation of Place

We will write to formally confirm your child's place and send you everything you need to get started, including a uniform list and other practical information.

You will also be asked to complete a number of online forms covering important details such as health, medical, dietary requirements, photography permissions, and parental responsibility. Full guidance on these will be provided at the time.
