Our Year 6 pupils have been embracing their roles as Sports Leaders, thanks to the guidance of Mr Fisk. They’ve taken on the responsibility of supporting and inspiring younger pupils, showing teamwork, confidence, and leadership in action.
The children have shared how valuable this opportunity has been helping them grow, It’s been fantastic to see them leading with such enthusiasm and positivity!

We were thrilled to welcome author and illustrator @ginareesillustrator to Yarrells today.
Gina shared her wonderful book Holly and the Little Lost Octopus with our Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 classes, and the children were captivated by the magical storytelling session. ✨
The children also had some fantastic conversations about farming, recycling, and how farmers care for and enhance the environment. 🌱🚜 The children loved exploring how we can all help look after our world.

Our staff have embraced the theme of 101 Dalmatians, with Mrs. Cunningham leading the pack as the fabulous Cruella de Vil. The children also enjoyed a wonderful assembly where we revealed our mysterious masked readers!

A truly magical day in our Early Years Nursery and Reception yesterday celebrating Julia Donaldson ✨
After a week filled with fun Julia Donaldson–inspired activities, it was so special to see the children arrive dressed as their favourite characters, from The Gruffalo to Zog and so many more! The excitement, imagination and joy throughout the day were simply incredible.

Our children have voted and we are SO proud of their thoughtful choices!

💚 Years 5 & 6 voted for the Mountain Gorilla
Our animal adoptions will help protect wildlife and support the @wwf vital conservation work around the world. By adopting these amazing animals, we’re helping to safeguard their habitats and support wider efforts to bring our world back to life.
The children absolutely loved choosing their animals and we couldn’t be prouder of their passion for protecting our planet! 🌎
