Yarrells School is very proud to announce that we've been recognised for a Significant Strength in our recent ISI Inspection, specifically for the greater depth of knowledge and understanding demonstrated by our pupils.
A Significant Strength is the highest commendation the ISI can award, given only to exceptional independent schools. This recognition is testament to the dedication of our pupils, the quality and commitment of our staff and the support of our parent community.
The inspection report itself highlights that the outstanding outcomes achieved by our pupils are a direct result of our focused and thoughtfully designed educational approach.

Today we held a special remembrance service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Mrs Cunningham said, Remembrance Day is a time for respect, reflection, and peace, a moment to think of the generations before us, and to give thanks to those who continue to protect us today.
Music by our Senior Chamber Choir performed beautifully.

Ahead of Remembrance Day, the children have been learning about the importance of honouring those who have served and made sacrifices. With the help of Mrs. Richmond, the Friday Club have created a beautiful ceramic poppy display, and in Art, Year 6 have made felt poppies to pay tribute to all who have served.

Thank you to all of you who came to enjoy our evening of spectacular Fireworks on Saturday evening. The children were mesmerised by the Fire Dancer who performed many tricks (not to be tried at home!).
Special thanks to our wonderful PTA and groundsmen who worked tirelessly throughout the evening to ensure the event was a huge success and enjoyed by all.

Year 4 had an amazing day out at the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth! The highlight of the trip was taking part in a Tudor gun drill workshop, where the children learned how the Tudor sailors prepared and fired cannons on board the ship, with plenty of noise and laughter along the way!
